Working experience (25 years) within the Medical Device industry in the companies SCA Hygiene Products, Mölnlycke Health Care and Astra Tech (Astra Zeneca) and have held positions such as Divisional Manager with global responsibility for Wound Care, Senior Vice President for Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA), Managing Director for Switzerland, Germany and the UK and presently as Divisional Manager with global responsibility for Health Care at Astra Tech.

Has a banking background having worked with Stockholms Enskilda Bank, in Stockholm and New York and Chemical Bank (now J.P. Morgan Chase) in New York, Brussels and Zurich. He was President of The Swedish American Chamber of Commerce in New York and has since the 1980:s been active in asset management and private equity. He holds and has held a number of directorships in a variety of companies. He has a MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics. Since 1977 he resides in Switzerland.
