Biopolymer Products of Sweden AB was founded in 1999 and has since then been developing products based on a protein from the blue mussel (MAP = Mussel Adhesive Protein). The product development has so far mainly been focused on medical applications and has led to several patents.

In 2007 the company entered into a license purchase agreement for medical applications. The license agreement includes medical applications only i.e. production and marketing of MAP based biological glue for medical purposes only.

Our current objectives are to continue the development of non-medical applications trough our subsidiary Biopolymer Technology of Sweden AB.
